The Turnkey Approach Is Savvy

How Much Will Your Move Cost?

“How much will the office move cost?” One of the most frequently asked questions we’ve received since we started Offisavvy.  The short answer:

~ It’s Complicated ~

The longer, more correct answer: there are a few key factors that go into our total cost calculation. Don’t worry though, we’re here to help. When we’re approached by a client and they ask how much they should expect to be spending on their relocation, we usually respond with three questions of our own.

• Distance •

How far is your origin facility to your destination facility? Are we moving across a city or across a state?

• Services •

What specific services are you looking for? Are you having your team pack their items themselves or do you need assistance with packing, crating, installations, etc?

• The Stuff •

What kind of equipment do you have & how much of it? Are we moving a single Chromebook or 50 cubicles stocked with every collectible Star Wars figurine?

Let's Nail This Down

Each of these questions helps us dial in the job and identify how much the office move cost. The number of movers, trucks, the type of equipment, and the amount of time needed to complete your move in a timely and efficient manner. Once we’ve gathered all the info we need, we plug it into our standard pricing model and ensure our customers receive accurate & transparent proposals as quickly as possible.

So for example, if you were to hire Offisavvy, you can expect to pay roughly between $50 – $250 per employee that is being moved. Quite a lot of wiggle room, but as we said, many different factors can change the price.

With this in mind, let’s build on it. When you’re moving about 1,500 SQUARE FEET of office space, your pricing could range from as low as $750 to as high as $4,500 depending on the materials, disassembly, and furniture.

A 10,000-SQUARE-FOOT space would likely start at $5,000 and range up to $30,000 due to numerous employees and workstations.

PLEASE NOTE: Something to consider for those who have their company in California, moving costs are usually 20% higher than in other states in the US.

Now, if other charges come up while planning and executing your relocation, we’ll always provide you an itemized list of these expenses that YOU approve. Save the surprises for birthday parties. With Offisavvy, there are no hidden fees or charges, period. As long as we have all the correct information up top, we’re ready to roll. Every move is different but the way we determine the cost of your project stays the same – every time.
